My background in User Experience has helped me become a better artist and designer. When I create a design, I design for the business, the people, and understand the audience through research and interviews. With a better understanding of my audience I understand what makes them fall in love with the art I create.

Since most of my clients already have an idea of what they want, I spend time to understand deeper. Even if someone has no idea what they want, together we work to create a unique, imaginative mural together.

The more involved a client is in this stage of the project, the more they are connected to the end product, because we created it together. First payment is received at this stage in the process.

After we have agreed on the concept, I create a sketch that we collaborate on to get just right. Once the sketch is complete, I will mock up the design to show what it will look like in the space. This helps us envision how the mural with vibe with your environment. If we need to adjust, it is best to do it at this stage.

Every artist has their painting process, cadence and work hours. Depending on where your mural will be painted, I adjust my hours accordingly. If I am painting at a business, I work during off-peak hours or when closed. At homes, I paint when there is the least amount of distraction for everyone’s convenience.

I make sure that my murals make you happy every time you view them. If it doesn’t feel right and we need to make adjustments, well, that’s just what we have to do! I care more about you LOVING your mural than I do about the time it takes for me to iterate (within reason).

After the mural is signed off, I seal the mural so that it is UV protected and waterproof. Once final payment is received, we’ll take some photos and share. Yahoo!
